What a wonderful Thanksgiving I had with my family. My mom and dad took me to Great Aunt Phyllis' house for two types of turkey (regular and cajun), cornbread dressing and gravy, shoepeg corn, Grandmother's infamous fresh salad, mashed potatoes and don't forget the mac and cheese that Aunt Grandma Opal T makes - yummy! I actually ate a bite of everything but the turkey - I've come a long way!! I haven't used my feeding tube since February. Food is a great thing! After we ate there, I got a second dose of similar fixins at Maw's and Papa's during the Cowboys vs. Saints game (sorry Boyz...maybe next time). I was a happy camper all day...laughed, jumped, ran, and hugged everybody in sight about 20 times. You gotta love those hugs!! Then, on Black Friday...forget the shopping, it's movie time for me. Mommy and Grandmother took me to see Tangled...I didn't mind watching it from the front row either...that way no one else can get in my way...haha!!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, too. I am thankful for mine!! Miss M
