At Our Latest Dance
Over 150 Superheros danced until the skies opened up
"My Rosie loves the dances and it's one of the few places she is completely comfortable being herself. That's priceless to me. Thank you." ~Debbi
Even with storms approaching, people still couldn't stay away from the one of the most fun events of the year! We broke our attendance record with over 150 superheros in the house at the "Superhero Dance Party", a Saturday Social Inclusion Dance on April 18, 2015.
This was the first dance of the year and was held at the Midlothian Civic Center; they are so nice to discount our venue rental. We had lots of fun dance music by DJ Carl of Fire Bird Entertainment, who also gives us a discount. Citizens National Bank gave us bottled water and $50 towards the event. We are so thankful for them and for Brookshire's for their $35 donation for juice.
We were so blessed to have so many new volunteers come and help us to set up, decorate, dance with the kiddos, and help clean up. Thank you to Believe Therapies for helping arrange Navarro College occupational therapy students to volunteer with us and for making superhero posters for our dance. They looked great around the room. A few young men from The DeMolay Legacy chapter of Midlothian were awesome volunteers by helping with hanging lights, putting up tables and chairs.

A big thank you goes to these superhero dance supporters
